SANCHEZ CROWNED COPA'S FINEST AS CHAMPION CHILE SWEEPS ACCOLADES





The Golden Ball, Glove and Boot accolades gone to Chile players following its penalty shootout win over Argentina in the Copa America final.


Alexis Sanchez was crowned the Copa America Centenario's most excellent player after Chile scooped the competition for the second succeeding year.
Defending champion Chile made it back-to-back wins with a 4-2 penalty shootout triumph over Argentina following a scoreless 120 minutes in Sunday's traditional final in New Jersey.
And after at MetLife Stadium, Sanchez picked up the Golden Ball prize for his hard work all through the centenary tournament in the USA, where he scored three goals and had four assists.
Chile captain and goalkeeper Claudio Bravo took out the Golden Glove for a second successive year after enjoying a starring position in the decider. Bravo created an incredible save to thwart Sergio Aguero in the second half of extra time and the Barca keeper dismissed Lucas Biglia from the spot to enable Francisco Silva to convert the successful penalty
the 33-year-old shot-stopper – Chile's most capped player with 106 – maintained three clean sheets in this year's edition of the Copa America.
However, Chile forward Eduardo Vargas won the Golden Boot, having topped the goal scoring chart with six.
Vargas, who completed level with Paolo Guerrero a year ago, stamped his mark on the competition with a four-goal haul in Chile's 7-0 demolition of Mexico in the quarter-finals
